Consider volunteering at Blessed Emmanuel during the 2026 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally!
The many volunteers who have helped during previous years can attest to the wonderful fellowship we experience with our fellow LCMS members as well as the many visitors who attend breakfasts and suppers. We serve over 2000 meals during the week of rally. That’s over 2000 opportunities to witness!
And we are greatly rewarded when we receive letters, weeks and months after the rally has ended, telling us that after seeing the joyful volunteerism we have during rally, they have been motivated to volunteer more at their home church.
Slots are available for BREAKFAST 6:00 am – 12:00 pm
Daily from Saturday, August 8th through Saturday August 15th
6 am – 12 pm—breakfast prep and cooking (4 people)
7:00 am – 12 pm—serving (15 people)
12 pm until done—clean-up (2 people)
Slots are available for DINNER 4:00 – 8:00 pm
Daily from Monday, August 10th – Friday, August 14th
4:00 – 8:00 pm—set-up/serve/clean-up (4 people)
Also, food donations are needed for 3 of our supper meals. Items need to be dropped off before
4:00 pm on the day the item is to be served. We also have freezer space so items can be cooked and frozen and brought to the church most days of the week prior to the start of Rally.
Monday – we will need 6 pans of lasagna, 9×13
Tuesday – we will need 6 meatloaf, 2 lbs. each
Thursday – we will need 6 pot pies, 9×13 each
