St. Paul encourages young pastor, Timothy, “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12). The young adults in our congregations, those who have just graduated high school to those starting careers and families, are vital partners in the ministry.
Campus Ministry
The South Dakota District financially supports two campus ministries in South Dakota:

Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Brookings and South Dakota State University

Lutheran Young Adult Corps
With an emphasis on faith, service, and community, Lutheran Young Adult Corps provides long-term service opportunities in communities of need for young adults between ages 18-26.
