This is a straightforward\, meaningful event—no gimmicks\, just good Lutheran preaching\, honest conversation\, and a chance for our confirmation kids to build real friendships. \nTheme: “You Are the Man!” \nWe all know those words can either make someone’s day or stop them in their tracks. Nathan said them to David and exposed his sin. Jesus owns them for Himself—“I am He”—and then claims us in forgiveness: “You are Mine.” That’s what we’re unpacking this year—God’s Law and Gospel in real life. \nSpeaker: Pastor Simek (Our Redeemer\, Sioux Falls) \nHe’s been in their shoes\, he loves Christ\, and he knows how to connect with middle schoolers.
