"The New Testament: Canon, Text, and Translation"

Everyone is invited to come and hear Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Kloha as he reminds us that the New Testament is God's inspired, holy Word and why we can trust what it teaches us about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Dr. Kloha, a scholar and theologian, is the former provost and professor of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO.  He currently serves as the Director of Collections Operations for the Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC.  Supper will be provided at this event with a free-will offering.  Childcare is also available, but you are asked to contact Cindy at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Aberdeen, at 605-225-1847.  For more information you may e-mail Rev. Event Schedule

Session 1: 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.: "How the New Testament Books Were Gathered" (Canon)

Session 2: 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.: "How the New Testament Books Were Copied" (Text)

Supper: 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Session 3: 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.: "How Moderan Translations Seek to Make These Ancient Writings Understandable" (Translation)
