The Reverend Lloyd W. Redhage was installed as pastor of the newly‐formed St. Paul's‐Ferney and St. John's‐Britton parish on Sunday, February 19, 2017, in a 4 p.m. service in Britton. Lloyd's son, Reverend Daniel Redhage of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lowden, IA, was the preacher. Reverend Larry Johnson (Emeritus) was the liturgist, and Reverend Josiah Fitch (Assistant Pastor, St. Paul‐Aberdeen) was the lector. District President, Reverend Scott Sailer, was the officiant for the Rite of Installation. Special music was provided by the St. John's Sunday School children, who sang "We Are the Church," and by Reverend Redhage's daughter‐in‐law, Amy, and grandchildren, David and Sarah, on violin. Lloyd has served South Dakota District congregations in Onida, Agar, Black Hawk, Andover, and Ferney, throughout his ministry since his graduation from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, IN, in 1983.
