Iowa Storm Damage Relief

Iowa farmers assess losses after derecho storm flattens cornfields,  destroys grain bins


King of Kings Lutheran Church, Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Pastor Mark Halvorson have been appointed by Iowa District East to the point congregation for disaster response for the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area, following the devastating hurricane-force winds that blew through Iowa a few weeks ago.  Pastor Halvorson says that the needs are great for clean-up, particularly clearing fallen and severely damaged trees.  Pastor Halvorson has written a letter laying out how you can help.
